Jellyplz has always loved Minecraft and other sandbox games. She has experience running Minecraft servers and roleplaying WoW guilds. Bringing people together and creating communities is in her blood. Jellyplz works full-time at a company that builds IRL houses and previously spent 10 years working in higher education. Her passions include gardening, digital and watercolor painting, traveling, trashy reality TV shows, reading (NF: history & behavioral science / F: mystery & drama), collecting nesting dolls, and volunteering at her church. Causes close to her heart include St. Jude’s Children’s Cancer Research, Aid Relief to Foster Children, and Guinea Pig Rescue Organizations.
Pointyy, may not love playing Minecraft as much as he loves Rocket League. However, as a programmer, he loves the technical back-end aspect of running a server. He enjoys the thrill of solving complicated problems, which is great because there are always problems to be solved! He is known for being the “quiet one” in real life and in-game. But, make no mistake he is heavily involved in keeping the server running smoothly. Pointyy also works full-time in the tech industry, having previously worked at Sony and Microsoft. His passions include the Packers (go Pack go!), traveling, biking, and going to death metal concerts.
Jellyplz and Pointyy met online in November 2014 and had their first date a week after lengthy e-mail correspondence. They fell head over heels in love with each other despite their differences (Shy Sporty Wisconsin Boy meets Outgoing Artsy Texan Girl), united by a strong love for goofiness and gaming. Together, they are the perfect marriage of community warmth/event planning meets technical knowledge/creative application. They got married April 2016. They happily live together in Houston, Texas; eating Tex-Mex and playing with their three beloved and spoiled guinea pigs (Salsa, Queso, and Huevos). They believe they can make the world a better place through their faith and love. Stonewick was inspired by Pointyy’s hometown of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. And it was built as an inclusive place for people of all walks of life, from all around the world to join together in kinship and harmony to celebrate our differences and relish in our common interests.
